Mr. Vongerichten Goes to Boston

See today's Globe for my article on the Boston opening of Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's 25th restaurant.

His farm-to-table concept, called Market, already exists in three other cities around the world. Which is why I thought it was so funny to write the following line:

"The Boston Market, not to confused with Boston Market..."

Great article! And your line is funny, but perhaps not to be associated with a man with such an austere name, even if he can show a mischievous smile...
Not that my per diem would cover it, but I would love to try this next time I'm in Boston for work! However, DC does have something similar: Founding Farmers- check it out!

well done and congrats. Too bad the line got cut. Maybe it would have got in as "The Market in Boston, not to be confused with Boston Market."

Anyway, did you actually get to interview this chef and shadow him for a day? A behind-the-scenes take on this article might be an interesting blog post.
